Work­ing again on my exper­i­men­tal tool for Goal Struc­tur­ing Nota­tion (GSN), in J an APL like lan­guage with great pos­si­bil­i­ties. For exam­ple, J (see here) includes graphviz as add-on and is great for cal­cu­la­tions. My inter­est here is to seek for pos­si­bil­i­ties to use GSN in a much broad­er sense than only a tree with some nodes and text in it. GSN for me is a very impor­tant means for mod­ern safe­ty cas­es of com­plex sys­tems oper­at­ing in open-world sce­nar­ios. But first, I have to fig­ure out how to imple­ment log­ic pro­gram­ming for rea­son­ing in J. Lat­er, a con­nec­tion to the nice safeT­box from Fraun­hofer IESE would be nice (there is a GSN mod­ule, too). A lot to play in future 😉
