My jour­ney with the “J” lan­guage (a some kind suc­ces­sor of APL) turns my head upside down. It pro­vides me a lot of new ideas about think­ing about prob­lems, solu­tion and — very impor­tant — the nota­tion about them. I’m so impressed from this things, that I start­ed to think about a nota­tion use­ful to write and talk about ODD, sce­nar­ios, tar­get behav­ior etc… Iden­ti­fy­ing haz­ards on behav­ioral lev­el, assess them where no fault is, no E/EE fail­ure or mate­r­i­al weak­ness is still a chal­lenge for me. And here, maybe a clever nota­tion may help, because a nota­tion is more than words or strings, it is about men­tal mod­els, sym­bols and an expres­sion of how to see the world (and their risks).
